Jessie James,Ellie Mae, Zach and Bailey Here at the "Love A Lab-KY Rescue" we rescue Labrador Retrievers and Lab-mixes from local area high-kill shelters. Our main goal is to take in, assist, rehabilitate and rehome unwanted, neglected or homeless Labs and Lab/mixes of all ages. We have 7 wonderful, fenced acres of land for the Labs to run, play and socialize with our matriarchs Bailey, Zach, Ellie Mae, and Jessie James. We are not breeders, we are rescuers foremost. | MALE LABS FOR ADOPTION:   ARCHIE: (Male) This is Archie,a lab mix(thinking boxer), who has had a very rough start in his first two months of life. He was found as a stray sitting on the edge of the road. He is about 8-9 weeks old, he has a very good attitude and is very puppish in his antics. He is using a medicated shampoo for a skin irratation, and will not be allowed to leave the rescue until it is resolved. (about 2 weeks). He has learned sit, does very well in a crate, and is UTD on shots. She has been here since Feb, and has proven herself as a beautiful, loving girl. She gets along well with all my other labs. I figure she is around 16months old, is spay, UTD on shots, heartworm NEG and on heartguard. She is crate trained and house broke.She is shy of men at first but is fine after a day. A family found her and took her in, they have had her since she was 5 weeks old and couldn't find a home for her,so they called us. She is now 6 months old, a light boned field type of lab, on the small side right now. She has very warm-brown eyes and is so very sweet. She is very sensitive and needs to be in a calm home. She is spayed, UTD on her shots, on heartguard, crate trained, house broke, knows the command of "sit" and "down"and walks on a leash. She is good with other dogs, kids and cats. Now she is a healthy, loving Lab. She is house trained, crate trained, UTD on shots, on heartguard and spayed. She will following you where ever you go. She walks on leash, sits and is learning down. She is good with other dogs and cats, also kids of all ages.
