2008 HAPPY LAB TAILS.....

Off and running in 2008

BUSTER: Jan '08

Buster came to us from northern KY, his mom had to

give him up for several personal reasons. She took great care of him while she had him and wanted to make sure he went someplace safe to find a forever home. Her Mother in Law ( to be), Debbie, called and spoke with me several times, visited and decided this was the safe place for him. He was here just over a month and got adopted by a very wonderful lady named Amy, along with her daughter Ashley, and her 2 furkids Bear and Darby. Buster fit in from day one and Amy is even willing to keep in touch with his 1st mom, so she knows he is doing well.

WYATT: Feb '08

Wyatt came from a shelter out in western KY way back in Aug'07. I really thought he was just to serious looking for a chocolate lab and would never get adopted. To be honest he was so wonderful we didn't care, if he had to, he could stay forever with us. BUT that perfect forever family, from Louisville,  found him on my site, adopted him and he is so very happy. He has a wonderful new mom and dad and 3 great kids to play with. He even gets to go to the lake on weekends for get away trips, I heard he loves it.

BARNEY(Aspen): MARCH '08

Barney is one of Lily's pups too. He is such a gentle guy. He loved to play with my cat Riki, and pile sticks in the yard!!He had his first plane ride also, but going West instead of East. He will now reside in KS with his new dad Guy and his new fur-brother Tal, and Midnight the cat. He is a lucky boy, Guy will make sure he wants for nothing and gets all the love a pup could want or need.

 BOBBI(Daisy Mae): MARCH '08

Bobbi came to me as one of Lily's pups. She was the tinest one of the five. At her two week check up she weighed in at 1pd 2oz, the other pups used to beat on her, so she spent alot more time with me one-on-one. At 9 weeks old she weighed in at 10pd 2oz at her exam. She took her first plane ride to NYC where her new mom and dad(Jen and James)  picked her up and took her to her new home in Stamford, CT. She is such a smart little thing, learned her name first out of the bunch, learned to sit first and was crate trained first!! She is going to have a wonderful life in CT, esp with the beach right down the street.

 ZOE (Fern): APRIL '08

Zoe was one of Lily's pups also. She is such a tomboy but loves to be cuddled too. This girl played hard and thought she was the Alpha of the group, she sure did make me smile everyday! She is now living the good life in IND with her new mom and dad, Marsha and Rodger.

"Welcome Home Fern, Welcome Home"

MAGGIE (Iris): MAY'08

Maggie was also one of Lily's pups. She was such a loving little girl who's favorite past time was to lay in my lap and have her belly rubbed while we rocked in the rocking chair. She has moved to Lexington, KY and has a great new mom named Rebekah.

"Welcome Home Maggie, Welcome Home".

CALLIE BEAR: July '08

Callie has gone to live on a farm with a local vet tech, Lidsney. I think she will be very happy being able to run all day long and never have to be confined in a kennel. She was my special needs gal and hopefully this is the happy ending forever home for her. Be safe my special girl and enjoy the freedom.
