Here at the "Love A Lab-KY Rescue" we rescue Labrador Retrievers and Lab-mixes from local area high-kill shelters. Our main goal is to take in, assist, rehabilitate and rehome unwanted, negelected or homeless Labs and Lab/mixes of all ages.
 
 We have 6 wonderful, fenced acres of land for the Labs to run, play and socialize with our matriarcts Bailey, Zach, Ellie Mae, and Jessie James. If you are looking for a wonderful pet for your family then you have come to the right place. We believe in responsible pet ownership and advocate spaying and neutering. We are not breeders, we are rescuers foremost.

LILY: (Female)

 Please welcome Lily to the family, a 1y/o  lab mix.  Lily is one of the sweetest pups I have ever met. Very well behaved, is house broken and has been spayed. She is UTD on her shots, is heartworm NEG and has started her heartguard. She will be a small lab mix only weighing in at 58 pds. She is good with kids, but shy in the beginning with men (but warms up in time).  If you feel you could offer Lily a wonderful home without chains, Please contact us at lovealab-kyrescue@lablover.org or call and leave a message at 270-528-3533.

 

 

 

 CALLIE BEAR (FEMALE):

This is Callie, a 2y/o PB Black Lab. She was an owner turn in, and is a sweet young lady. She does have some issues, but they are workable. She is thunder storm sensitive, she has seperation anxiety, and has to be crated in a Vari travel Kennel, no wire kennels. She has to have land to run on, she can not be homed in an apartment setting, unless you are a runner and can give her at least a 2 mile run everyday. She is very loving, great with kids and other dogs and cats. She is UTD on shots, spayed, housetrained and on heartguard. It would be best if she had a home where someone was home most of the day with her. She will follow you around every place you go.
